Synthrotek is pleased to offer a complete line of eurorack synthesizer modules, power, cases and accessories in both complete units and kits. We now offer a very complete analog modular monophonic voice with many accompanying utility modules. This new complete voice is the product of a collaboration with synth guru George Mattson, who now joins us in releasing our new MST (Mattson – Synthrotek) line of premium modules. The Stereo Output Mixer was designed by Scott Rise of Division 6.
MST – STEREO OUTPUT MIXER
The MST Stereo Mixer is intended for pannable stereo output, but it is also suitable for both AC & DC voltage signals (Gates, Triggers and Control Voltage).
Features:
2 channels, 2 inputs per channel
Jumper select ~unity gain or gain ~x2 (6db boost) amplification
Mixes both AC signals (audio) and DC signals (gates, triggers, CV)
Stereo output with panning per channel
Attenuator and amplifier per channel
1/4” and 3.5mm (1/8”) matching stereo output jacks
Black & White Panel Option!

The MST Stereo Output mixer will be releasing very soon! We are planning on releasing it in mid-April
Are the stereo outs line level (-10dBV) or Euro level?
If Euro, is there and adapter cable to split the stereo jack into two 3.5 mono jacks?

I just measured the Stereo Output Mixer with a 112Hz square wave going in, and the output (in 1x gain) is 15v peak to peak.

Hi, nice module! Could you drive a pair of headphones from the output? Could you also feed the other socket to an audio interface and drive both at the same time?

Hey John,
You can totally drive a set of headphones with this module. However, if you are driving two audio sources at once, there will be a noticeable drop in output, as they are normalled together and the sound will split. The best way to drive both would be to run the output to an audio interface or mixer, and run your headphones from that.

Hi, would it be ok to use a 180k or 220k resistor instead of 200K for R9 and R11 ?

Hey Thomas,
If you use 180k it will be quieter when the jumper is set to 2X gain. If you use 220k it will be slightly louder on 2X gain.

If you only use one input plug per channel will it split the mono signal to stereo?
